Facilities Rental Information |
- Recently renovated (roof, bathrooms, interior LED lights, flooring, baseboards, drapes/shades, interior paint).
- Large main hall with a rated capacity for 85 people
- Building and facilities are ADA compliant and handicap accessible
- 2 sets of male/female restrooms
- Tables – fourteen (14) 6 foot tables; four (4) 8 foot tables
- Chairs (sturdy, padded, non-folding) - 85
- Alcohol allowed with proper insurance forms
- There is no public/guest wifi nor do we have a bar for use/rent
2026 Reservation/Fee Information:
- Reservations/inquiries must be made by calling the American Legion Post 735 at 319-393-2377
- (if no answer, please leave your name, a good call-back numbers and the date/times you were interested in)
- Reservations are NOT managed via email - please call the Post to ensure prompt responses.
- Fees:
- Half day: $100.00 (payment via cash or check)
- Full day: $150.00 (payment via cash or check)
- Damage Deposit $125.00 (payment via cash or check)
- $25.00 Cancellation fee if under 48 hour notice (payment via cash or check)
- Special Rate Available for Non-Profit

You do not need to be a resident of the City of Hiawatha to use the Legion Hall nor do you need to have a family or friend connection to the Legion Post.
